Florida Democrats are united once again, but we must ensure that this does not ever happen again.
Our next priority is to join millions of other Democrats, Republicans and Independents to elect Barak Obama and Joe Biden the next president and vice-president of the United States.

A Half-Victory, at Best
Howard Dean and the DNC decided once and for all that Florida Democrats are half-citizens. His "solution" for the voting snafu is to award each Florida delegate 1/2 a vote, and his "solution" for Michigan Democrats was equally unfair.
We are not half-citizens. We deserve to have our votes counted 100% and no less. Your vote is your own. That's why this blogger supports the efforts of I Own My Vote. Sign their petition now and don't give up!

Our message to the Democratic National Committee: Half is not the answer!

Call 202-863-8000 and visit the DNC website at http://www.dnc.org/. Demand that the DNC revisit its May 31st decision and that it seats all delegates with 100% of their votes, not 50%.
Send a clear message: we're not half-citizens.
Refuse to give any financial support to a DNC direct response or email fundraiser, and clearly state that you are refusing to send money until our votes are FULLY counted.
Sign the petition on this website. It will be sent via email and postal mail to the DNC and to Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL), who has promised to make sure that our delegates are seated.
Tell your friends and neighbors (registered Democrats in Florida) about this website and urge them to contact the DNC.
